A salon hair colour service in Lahore costs Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 4,600 for a root touch up on the live women's salon deals on bugo.pk today, and Rs. 12,000 for roots with a gloss. Full colour comes in packages from Rs. 8,900. Men's hair colour starts at Rs. 1,300. Highlights and balayage are quoted by hair length and strand count, so they vary the most.

Hair colour price in Lahore at a glance

Root touch up price

A root touch up costs Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 4,600 on live Lahore deals. It colours only the regrowth, usually the first one to two inches, to match the rest of your hair. It is the most-booked colour service because most people need it every four to eight weeks.

• Fresh Roots at Emma'z Circle of Beauty, Eden City: Rs. 3,500 (regular Rs. 6,000). Root touch up with a haircut.
• Quick Root Refresh at House of Beauty, DHA Phase 2: Rs. 4,000 (regular Rs. 5,000). Covers 1 to 2 inches of regrowth, with a protein wash and paddle dry.
• Roots & Repair Revival at White Salon, DHA Phase 5: Rs. 4,600 (regular Rs. 6,000). Root touch up with a Bioplex protein treatment, wash and blow dry.

Check how many inches the price covers. If your regrowth is longer than two inches, expect the salon to charge more or treat it as a global colour.

Roots and gloss price

Roots with a gloss or toner cost Rs. 12,000 on a live deal. A gloss is a semi-permanent layer over the whole head that refreshes tone and adds shine, so the rest of your hair matches the new roots.

A gloss is worth it if your lengths have faded or turned brassy. If they still look even, a root touch up alone is enough.

Global hair colour price

Global colour means colouring all your hair, root to tip, in one shade. On live deals it comes in a package rather than on its own:

• Complete Beauty & Hair Care at Aura Salon & Spa by Nayab, DHA Phase 4: Rs. 8,900 (regular Rs. 12,000). Hair colour with a haircut, protein treatment, blow dry, face bleach and a mani-pedi. Valid until 18 February 2027.

Global colour is priced by length more than any other service. Shoulder-length hair takes less colour and time than waist-length hair, so ask for a quote for your length before you book.

Highlights and balayage price

Highlights and balayage cost the most and vary the most, because they depend on your hair length, how many strands are lightened, and whether a toner is added. There is one live deal on bugo.pk:

• Keratin, Balayage & Hair Color at Glamour Salon, DHA Phase 4: Rs. 6,000 (regular Rs. 9,000). Valid until 7 December 2026, so check it before you plan around it.

Rates at two premium Lahore salons, from their published menus checked on 3 November 2026. Toni&Guy notes that charges vary by hair length and density, and Dessange lists starting prices only:

• Highlights: Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 40,000 at Toni&Guy M.M. Alam, from half head above the shoulder to full head at waist length (without a base colour). Dessange Gulberg lists highlights from Rs. 20,000.
• Balayage and ombre: Rs. 30,000 for hair above the shoulder to Rs. 50,000 at waist length at Toni&Guy M.M. Alam, and from Rs. 20,000 at Dessange Gulberg.
• Gloss or toner: Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 25,000 at Toni&Guy M.M. Alam, and from Rs. 15,000 at Dessange Gulberg.

These are premium-salon rates. On bugo.pk, balayage deals start from Rs. 6,000, with the Glamour Salon deal above.

Here is what you are paying for:

• Foil highlights lighten individual sections from the root. Babylights are finer and take longer.
• Balayage is painted on by hand, softer at the root and brighter at the ends. It grows out more gently, so you need fewer touch ups.
• Ombre is a clear shift from darker roots to lighter ends.
• A toner after lightening removes brassy or yellow tones, and is often charged separately.

Men's hair colour price

Men's hair colour starts at Rs. 1,300 on a live deal, and Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 4,500 in a grooming package.

Why hair colour prices vary between salons

• Hair length and thickness. Longer, thicker hair needs more product and time.
• The service. A root touch up, global colour and balayage are different jobs with very different prices.
• The product. Ammonia-free and premium professional ranges cost more than standard permanent colour.
• Lightening. Going lighter needs bleach or a high-lift colour, often a toner, and sometimes a bond-builder treatment.
• The stylist. Senior colourists charge more, and it is usually worth it for highlights and balayage.
• What's bundled. A wash, blow dry, protein treatment or haircut adds to the price.

Ammonia-free hair colour

Ammonia-free colour has a milder smell and is gentler on a sensitive scalp, which is why many salons offer it as an upgrade. It still contains other chemicals that open the hair cuticle, so it is not damage-free, and it may fade slightly faster on grey hair. If your scalp reacts to colour, ask for it and ask for a patch test.

What a year of colour costs

Colour is a repeat cost, so price the year, not the visit. At live deal prices:

• Root touch up every six weeks: about 8 visits x Rs. 3,000 = Rs. 24,000 a year.
• Root touch up every eight weeks with a protein wash: about 6 visits x Rs. 4,000 = Rs. 24,000 a year.
• Balayage grows out softly, so many people need it only two or three times a year, plus a gloss in between.

Before you book: questions to ask

• How many inches of regrowth does the root price cover?
• Is the price for my hair length, and is a toner included?
• Which colour brand do you use, and is there an ammonia-free option?
• Will you do a patch test? Hair dye can cause allergic reactions, and a test 48 hours before is standard advice.
• Is a wash and blow dry included, or extra?

Aftercare to make colour last

• Wait at least 48 hours before washing your hair.
• Use a sulphate-free shampoo and wash with cool or lukewarm water.
• Use a heat protectant before blow drying or straightening.
• Cover your hair in strong sun. Lahore's summer sun fades colour quickly.
