• Marketing & Retargeting (with consent): To show you relevant deal promotions and advertisements on external platforms, and to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.

We categorise our cookies into four types. Below is a full breakdown of each category, its purpose, duration, and whether you can opt out:

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Bugo.pk Platform to function and cannot be disabled. Without them, you would not be able to log in, claim deals, maintain your session, or access secure areas of the platform. Because they are technically necessary, they do not require your consent.

3.3 Analytics Cookies

Analytics cookies help us understand how users interact with Bugo.pk so we can improve the platform. All data collected through analytics cookies is anonymised and aggregated — it does not identify you personally.

• Measure session duration, bounce rates, and user flow through the platform.

3.4 Marketing & Retargeting Cookies

Marketing cookies are used to show you relevant Bugo.pk deal promotions on external websites and social media platforms. These cookies are only placed with your explicit consent and track your browsing activity to build a profile of your interests.

• Track whether you visited Bugo.pk and which deals you viewed, to show relevant ads on Facebook, Instagram, Google, or similar platforms.
• Measure how many users clicked an ad and subsequently claimed a deal on the platform.

• Enable lookalike audience targeting for promotional campaigns.

We work with trusted third-party service providers that may set their own cookies on your device when you use the Bugo.pk Platform. These third parties operate independently and are governed by their own privacy and cookie policies.

Please note that Bugo.pk does not control third-party cookies. Mobile apps use platform-provided identifiers to track app sessions, measure analytics, and manage push notification preferences. On iOS, this includes the IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers), and on Android, the GAID (Google Advertising ID). These can be reset or disabled in your device settings:

Our apps use local storage to cache deal listings, your preferences, and session data to improve load speed and offline browsing capability. This data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you are actively using the app.

Push Notification Tokens

If you enable push notifications, we store a notification token on our servers to deliver deal alerts relevant to your location and preferences. You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings or within the Bugo.pk app under Settings → Notifications.
