Wedding Season in Lahore: What to Book as a Guest, Week by Week
Lahore's wedding season starts mid October. A week by week booking plan for guests, not brides, with three budgets and two live salon deals.

The short answer on wedding season booking in Lahore: work backwards from the function
Lahore's wedding season starts in mid October, runs hard through December, then continues in bursts until March. It is late August now, so you have roughly eight weeks before invitations turn into fixed dates and salon calendars close up. Book backwards from each function. The treatments that need healing time go first, and the ones that fade fastest go last.
Almost every wedding article in this city is written for the bride. For every bride there are dozens of guests, and the guest problem is a completely different one: several functions in one week, several looks, an ordinary budget, and a salon that is already filling up. Every deal linked below is live on bugo.pk right now, with real prices and real validity dates.
What this covers
- Which role you are actually playing, because it changes the whole plan
- A countdown from thirty days out to the morning of
- Three budgets for the same season
- The booking traps that only appear in shaadi season
First, pick your role
The mistake is treating "wedding season" as one job. It is four different jobs.
Guest at one or two functions
You need one hair appointment and one makeup appointment per function. That is genuinely it. Skip the packages. Book your party and makeup slots early and put the money into a good blow dry rather than a treatment nobody will see under a dupatta.
The bride's sister or cousin, three looks in five days
The hardest role, and the one nobody writes for. Three functions in a week means your hair takes a beating from heat and product, so the smart spend is a single repair treatment about a week out, then styling only after that. The countdown below is built around exactly this case.
The groom's side
Men's slots on function mornings disappear first, and grooming books up in the same window. Get the haircut seven to ten days ahead rather than two days ahead, so it settles instead of looking fresh cut in every photo.

The mother of the bride
You will be standing for hours and photographed all night. Prioritise a facial with real lead time so it has calmed down, plus hair colour or a roots touch up at the two week mark.
The countdown that actually works
T minus 30 days: anything that needs healing
Facials, peels, and any laser or aesthetic work belong here. Anything that can leave you red, flaky or sensitive needs weeks, not days. Booking a peel two days before a barat is one of the most common mistakes of this season, and it is not recoverable.
T minus 14 days: colour and roots
Hair colour and root touch ups at two weeks out. Fresh colour photographs slightly harsh on day one and settles by the second week, and the two week gap gives you a repair window if the tone comes out wrong.
T minus 7 days: repair the hair, do not style it yet
This is where a protein or repair treatment earns its money, especially if you are facing three functions in a week. There is a real one live right now:
Roots and Repair Revival at White Salon, DHA Phase 5
- Bioplex protein treatment, roots touch up to one inch, hair wash and a professional blow dry
- Rs 4,600, down from Rs 6,000, so 23% off
- Valid until 31 January 2027, which covers the entire season
The reason it fits this slot rather than the two week one is that a roots touch up matching colour you already have does not carry the settling risk of a fresh full colour, and it does the roots and the repair in one sitting. You are not booking two separate appointments in a week that is already overloaded. If you want the standalone version, keratin treatment prices covers the heavier option and what it actually lasts.
T minus 2 days: threading, waxing, mani pedi
Threading and waxing want a day or two to settle so any redness is gone by the function. Mani pedi goes here too, because polish chips and nobody wants to redo it on the morning. Current mani and pedi options give you the price range.

The morning of: hair and makeup only
Nothing new on your skin. No first time facial, no new product, no experiment. Hair and makeup, then leave. This is the rule people break when they get nervous, and it is the rule that ruins photos.
Three budgets for the same season
Around Rs 5,000, one function
One hair treatment and blow dry, threading, and do your own makeup. The Roots and Repair package above lands almost exactly at this number, at Rs 4,600, and it covers the hair side of the one function you actually care about.
Around Rs 15,000, three functions
One repair treatment about a week out, one professional makeup for the biggest night, self done makeup for the others, plus mani pedi and threading. Book the makeup slot first, because that is the thing that sells out, not the treatment.
Rs 50,000 and up, if you are actually the bride
Then you are not a guest and this is the wrong plan for you. The relevant live listing is the Glow and Glam Luxury Package at Iram Asif's Beauty Salon: bridal makeup, full body wax, body scrubbing, organic facial, manicure, pedicure, a Korean glass hydra polisher, massage therapy, dupatta draping and expert touch up, at Rs 55,000 down from Rs 100,000. That is 45% off, valid until 31 January 2027.
Be clear on what that is, though. It is one all in day for the bride, not a season plan for a guest. Do not buy it because the discount is large. For the bride specific sequence, the bridal countdown checklist does it properly, and what brides and party guests really pay gives you the rate context.

Booking traps in shaadi season
- Slot scarcity beats price. From mid October the binding constraint is availability, not cost. The Rs 3,000 appointment you can actually get beats the Rs 2,000 one you cannot.
- Function morning slots go first. Anything between 8am and noon on a wedding day is gone weeks ahead. That window is the whole game.
- Trials are usually billed separately. A trial is often not included in the package price, and finding that out on the day is expensive. Confirm the trial fee, in writing, before you book.
- Two to three months ahead is the real lead time. For a December function, that means booking now, in late August or early September.
- Family bookings need one owner. Three or four women from one house booking separately at the same salon for the same morning is how somebody ends up unstyled at 11am. Book as a group, one name, one time block.
- Off peak is genuinely easier. March through August is far quieter, so you get your pick of slots and artists instead of whatever is left. If a function date is still flexible, that is where the value sits.
FAQ
When does wedding season actually start in Lahore?
Mid October, peaking through December, with functions continuing into March. Serious booking starts eight to ten weeks earlier, which means late August and September.
How far ahead should I book party makeup?
Two to three months for a peak season date, and earlier if you want one specific artist. Rates vary a lot by artist and by whether it is a home visit, so ask for the fee and the travel charge together rather than separately.
I am a guest at three functions in one week. What do I book?
One repair treatment about seven days out, one professional makeup for the biggest function, and threading plus mani pedi two days before the first event. Nothing new on your skin inside that week.
Is a family salon package worth it?
Usually yes for a function morning, because you are buying a block of time rather than four separate slots that drift apart. Ask exactly what the block covers per person before you agree a total.
Can I get mehndi hair and makeup and a facial on the same day?
No. Put the facial three or four weeks earlier. A same day facial leaves skin warm and reactive, and makeup sits badly on it.
Are wedding season prices higher than the rest of the year?
Availability tightens sharply and the cheaper slots go first, so in practice you pay more even where the list price has not moved. Booking early is the discount.
